Putra Heights, 19 April 2025 – At Novel Resources Sdn Bhd, we believe that a company’s responsibility goes beyond business, it includes standing together with the community in times of hardship. In line with this commitment, our team recently provided support to victims of the Putra Heights fire, which occurred on 1 April 2025 in Putra Heights, Selangor, near a local Petronas station. The devastating fire broke out suddenly, reportedly due to a gas leak in a residential unit, and quickly spread to nearby homes. While, thankfully, no lives were lost, several families were left without shelter and belongings, forced to rebuild from nothing.
On 19 April 2025, as part of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, Novel Resources Sdn Bhd donated 53 luggage bags — one for each affected family — along with 100 backpacks to support both adults and children who were impacted by the tragedy. These items were chosen to help residents carry their essentials with dignity and ease as they transition into temporary or new housing.
We believe that meaningful brands are not only built through products and services, but also through empathy and action. Giving back to the community is one of our core values, and we are proud to stand with the people of Putra Heights during this time.
